Well, that was fun for 3 laps...

But literally just as I was thinking 'Only Clive could race this close to me in GPL' he forgot to leave room for when the road narrowed after turn 5 and we hit hammer

Landed on my head, game over Sad

Congrats to the winner...

Sorry Tim. I was trying to leave room, honest I was. I think my head must be older and harder than yours, because I landed on my helmet but bounced over onto the wheels again  Undecided. Put in a report Tim, I have not looked at replay, but if I was at fault then I accept whatever.

Chased Uli for a few laps until I had to Abort at the final turn to avoid rear ending him. Trying to catch him afterwards I pushed Italian engineering beyond its natural limits and it started smoking. Limped to the end and came in last.

could be the gear ratio ?

What a race with Andreas and Mike !
Sorry Mike, just when I almost 100% overtook your car, I saw Evil's car slowly running at the right.
I had no other choice to try to go just between your 2 cars ...and to pray.
Unfortunately, I think there was a contact between my left rear tyre and your right front tyre.
I hope there was no damage to your car !!??

It was always going to happen at some point between us, and I'm amazed it hasn't happened sooner. We seem to drive in a similar fashion so often get coder than we would against other drivers.
When you see the replay you'll see you did leave room initially as I was using the run off, but when that ran out and I had to move left we hit. In something I can use the Rift in that would never have happened as I could have looked over and seen you..

I'm not sure about filing a report, we've driven this close in races for a good 6+ years now so contact like this that isn't down to lag I'm happy to consider as a racing incident.
It's annoying though as it might have scuppered what looked like a potential championship for me  Sad

Fran, the MS84 is 4 wheel drive so has a fairly dreadful top speed. Only the 4WD Mclaren has a respectable(ish) top speed.

Great but lucky win for British Racing Motors!
For the first time ever I took the BRM tank (THX to your token-system) - funny to drive, stable but a bit sluggish engine - even when a sub 9 was possible for me. That is why I was not happy with my practice result.
I liked the mostly good-looking BRMs very much, except the 69 car which look like a tank in his nato green Wink  and remember well the good-looking silver green BRM on his last Nürburgring GP 1974 … (sry stories …)
Back to the crazy race - what a heat at the first laps between the Ferraris from Evil and Tim in front of me!
If you both would have the same FPS rate as I had, that kind of close fighting could not go well.
Because my hardest fight was against that bloody frame rate! Sometimes only with 45! Most the time between 50 and 54 Sad
Indeed, a nice blue dust track but not for my old pc.
SRY for your bad luck Axel, normally it was your win. And SRY making you abruptly troubles at the final corner end of lap 13 Evil, but this last corner was one of the 50 fps areas and additionally I had a downshift prob at that moment, like I had at lap one when Tim could pass me …
GRATS Dave and Andreas, fine to be with you on podium, big hand to you Smiley

Hope you get well Tim
