SRY Alain, it was not your fault! It was me who had engine problems at that moment when I suddenly became slow!
So it was a very short race. Until then it was a nice. Thanks to you Alain.
Now I still have a lot to learn about the Honda RA 300 . . .

Fantastic race with this Lotus Diva I tiptoed around and after the fuel got lighter could gain some positions
but lost them again and again when doing little mistakes- running wide once was on 4th just to throw it away in T1...

with 12 laps to go, my monitor suddenly warned me to shut down with a central window so I went off and by hammering on the KB it was gone
- to come back after a minute and again off and gone
- next was a black screen (engine still running) now I had to fiddle with the monitors joystick button to shut off this energy mode...
Car was still running and unhurt and I rejoined in last place with Fulvio some 100 m ahead to catch Grin

I had 90 minutes action with lots of fun!

A wonderfully slow and gentlemanly first lap turned into a very busy race ahead of me.
I had the 30fps problem again, but not in qualy. After 20 laps it hadn't cleared, so I tried turning off bits of Pribluda. I removed my sector times and had 60 fps immediately. Put them back on and 60 fps stayed to the end. I couldn't push early on and let a few through. Ahead of me for many laps I could see 6 cars having a great time as I watched the little dots going up the hill and out to T1. They slowed each other down as I could keep pace a little way back. Then Alex, Axel and Clive fell off and I ended up pretty much where I started. 90 minutes flew by. Grats to all finishers with a great battle for the lead to the end.

Very tiring, a ligament in the right knee was on fire at the end of the race, I'm not sure if I can do everything like running from that distance.
The first lap was perfect, it gave the overall form the race was smooth, the respect between riders. The number of riders at the end of the race was a surprise for me, I expected a much larger number with engine breaks, a big surprise !.
Thanks to the organizer for his patience for the last minute changes!
In the race I was lucky not to be in the group of death who were immediately behind me, I could not stand the whole race in the midst of those crazy people !!
Congratulations Farina !!!! Made a perfect race !!!

What should have been my longest run has become the shortest. Really sorry. I really liked the feeling of the car! With the full it was a delicacy to drive! Fantastic! Bravo to the many who finished! I can't wait to see how you feel after a marathon.

Congratulations to Farina for his solid race!

I had a good start but at lap 5 I was overtaken by Jungle that was very quick with his ferrari. Shortly after he made a mistake and I slided in but there was a contact and we both went off track. This may be due to a lag or to the funny way GPL handle contacts. That was over for Jungle but I was fortunate not to have damages. The rest of the race was a hard battle to climb back up from 13th to 4th position. It was funny to race with you all! I'm happy I could finish this full GP race after more than 10 years with simracing. It was an amazing experience to live once again with 16 other drivers more than 20 years after GPL was released. Fantastic simulation even if there are still some minor default, 60FPS is really great to race with!

A great relief to get the first race in this new Grand Prix format completed. A few last minute entries increased the grid to 16 cars which was great to see.

The racing appeared to be close right to the end, and all the way through the field with some great battles.

First of all...Huge thanks to the moderators team here at UKGPL for all of the work to get this new series working.
Also a big thankyou to all drivers for the careful first laps  Grin thumbup2  and I also saw that all drivers were very careful when they rejoined the circuit after running wide.

Grats to the podium and to all the cars that finished the 90minutes. I hope everyone enjoyed the challenge?

@ Tris, we missed you. Sorry that you could not join the server. Please check that you have registered for the Grand Prix Series and not for the Sprint series? or try to join via IP address through GPL Multiplayer next time?
