Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0h09m08s

Accident between Francesco and Markus on lap 6.

Markus was following Francesco very closely on a difficult part of the track, just before Moss corner.

Markus rearended Francesco. Other drivers were unlucky victims too.

Assuming the fact, Markus was 6 seconds a lap quicker than Francesco, he should have wait a better place to overtake and have been more cautious.

Hearty congratulations to Billy on scoring the win.  Great job!
Yes, really pleased to see Billy grab a win. Always a very fair competitor and a hard working moderator so it is nice to see him have a chance to spray the virtual champagne!

Phil hardly made the S/F line as a collision at the rear of the grid had him turn turtle.
I had to take my son to the airport and I was late back, so I didn't get a chance to put a decent qually time in. But I was happy to be at the back and hopefully is a position to pick up a few places. I made a decent start and kept to my side of the track but unfortunately I had some warp contact with David. Starting on the corner, David's trajectory was directly into my path and although he turned right, when the warp kicked in my client registered a massive contact and I was flipped upside down. With no reset for me this year, I had to quit. A bit unlucky and not David's fault but it does show how important it is to stay on your own side at the start. I'll be very wary about starting on a corner in future!

Wins in GPL don't come my way too often so very pleased with this one.
Several drivers could have won this race &  a number were faster than I was able to drive safely.
The T2 collision took out 3 of the front runners so I was running 3rd place on the first lap & would have been happy with a podium finish.
I was able to follow Ricardo but Bob was pulling away at a second a lap. About lap 20 I passed him in the pits & a few laps later Ricardo ran wide at the end of the long straight.
That left me with about 10 laps to the flag. Doni was doing a solid job in the BRM in his home race & nibbling away at my lead. As the laps ticked down I could see Markus gaining on the both of us. Mosport is a hard place to pass but I was glad to finish on lap 36. By that stage Doni & Markus were less than 3 seconds behind me.
Congratulations to Andy Livingstone who won the GP race. Maybe it was a lucky night to be in a Ferrari.

PS. The average gap in fastest laps between the this race & the GP was the closest I can remember.
