Oh boy, I got swallowed by the Lancias and Mercs, lost it all overdriving. I'll just try to not get in the way at Silverstone and enjoy myself.

Tough track with these cars. Especially thought the brakes were tricky.
Think I'd favour driving this track with another mod. Happy with the result, though. Championship still up for grabs.

Congratulations to Yannick, Giovanni and Jonny.  There were some fantastic lap times being done.

I was pleased with a PB in qually but I struggled with the Gordini in the race and my initial undoing came when I tried to pass Doni's Mercedes.  The little blue beastie decided to squirm sideways as I attempted to out brake him at the last tight corner of lap two.  Sorry Doni.

With my brain still trying to figure out how that went wrong, I then made a complete mess of things when I caught Fulvio.  Sorry Fulvio.

After that I got my head back in gear and set about trying to catch Doni for a rematch.  At the end I had him in sight but ran out of laps.

At least now we can have the final race on a proper track!

The championship is very tight. Clive is leading but he has to drop a score so his net total going into the last round is 199 (218 -19). The top 4 are pretty close, the final round will be tense  .

It might be handy if outstanding moderation issues were resolved ahead of the start at Silverstone.
I've always based my sums on the basis that Yannick was the winner at Monza.
