Thanks for racing, guys. I was never really a threat to anyone but was very happy to sit in about P9 all evening and watch the battle in front of me. Always four or five cars in view. GPL is awesome. A field of Ferraris at Monza67 is a piece of living art. Congratulations to all finishers and especially the fast guys up front on the podium. I made one silly mistake but at least I could continue without shift-r and finish one place ahead of my grid-slot. See you all next time in the SCX cars.

Pretty fun event from my end.

I beat Tristan narrowly in qualifying but he got the better start. It didn't take long to get first place back, and that was the position I would stay in the for the rest of the race. The gap was never more than 3-4 seconds so I was kept on my toes throughout.

See you next race.

Bravo to our podium finishers!  Well done.

I had a reasonable but not great run in qualifying to start P5 and stayed there for many a lap.  I couldn't close on Axel and only just stayed out of the grasp of Bastian.  After Axel fell off in the Parbolique and Bas followed, I was on my own with a large gap to Ricky ahead and Fulvio behind.  Not much chance to cruise, though.  When my pit board showed that Axel was now chasing me and fully 10 seconds back, I expected him to start carving time off my advantage.  That, indeed, was the case and it was starting to look like it might boil down to a last lap showdown.  Axel's challenge evaporated late on with a spin in the Curva Grande to let me get home a tasty P4.

Nice to see a large grid.  I think that the Ferrari Challenge concept is very popular.  I certainly quite like it.

Glad you're enjoying it. It certainly makes for some close racing.

You bet, Pete.

BTW...  It hasn't been lost on me that the top four finishers are all Division 1 drivers of the OAO.  Wink
