Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0h15m30s

Fulvio and Renato enter Parabolica side by side, Renato makes nothing wrong and keeps a clean inside line until his car has a little warp.
Nothing would have happened if Fulvio had a wider line...

Sorry Paul, I just had a look at the replay and the crash was not with you but with Dulima...

Please, stay in this championship !
Remember we didn't drive the best cars in Monza (you with the old Lotus without wing, and me with the old BT24) and we finish the race with a better result than the poleman and the 3rd on the grid  Grin

.......spent 99% of the race at the back trying hard to stay our of the way of extremely fast approaching cars. Not really any fun at all.
Just drive your normal line and pace Paul. It is up to the lapping drivers to overtake you safely. It is best if you drive predictably so they can plan their move with confidence.

shame we havent got enough people for a Privateers server. without that option Im just a mobile chicane it seems.
A second server wouldn't make a difference unless there were  more drivers at the same ability as you. Don't worry about being a mobile chicane. There are 3 or 4 drivers I regularly battle with. There are a lot that are just too fast for me. It doesn't matter if they are on the same server or a different one, I never see them after the start.

not actually sure if this championship is something I would be better off not entering. so many Aliens.  Smiley
Provided there is someone of a similar ability as you to race against you can have fun and just ignore the aliens.

Stick around, Paul.  As long as it's fun.  When that stops, so does everyone.

Starting in 5th I had a good start and soon settled on the lead changing positions with Axel in the same car till he blew the engine. Then I had a little battle with Uli and Renato, but at 11 lap Renato got my drag to Para and moved to pass inside. When I turned in I thought he was still behind and we touched with me in the sand  Cry
I reported this incident only to see what moderators think. Usually I don't report incident and I don't want to blame anyone. Too bad cause it was one of the best race I was having at Monza. Regained the track behind Pete, I had a nice backup and joined Greg and Ricardo on their battle for 3rd. When there is a train of 3 cars it's almost impossible to pass for the third car if noone make mistakes. After many effort at two lap to go I had a chance to pass Greg before Grande and at last lap tried the same with Ricardo, but I went wide  scratching the rail and had to keep 5th to the end. Exciting race!

Paul, I missed the opening race because I got tangled up with the Norton Virus checker settings. Should be back for the next one & I need some competition in the battle of the back markers. Hope to see you there.

Nice full grid yesterday!  Grin
I am very happy with my race, was able to stay out of it all after my bad start takeing home the second place safely, although I was in fact much too tired - not able to go hotlapping to the end of the race. So I was pleased to let Renato pass, also because I saw how fast he was coming closer.  - 2 fast 4 me  thumbup1  and big THX for close and faire fighting to you Fulvio. Cool
Congratulation Renato and Ricardo and to all finishers
thanks for the perfect organization

Congrats Renato, Uli, and Ricardo!

That was intense! I doubt I relaxed 1 second the entire race. Fulvio, Ricardo, and Enrique kept pressure on me most of the race. I had to be perfect to pass Ricardo the one or two times I was able. I wished I had the DFV´s torque exiting Parabolica. The shift from 2nd to 3rd exiting Parabolica showed the Ferrari´s disadvantage. Fulvio drove great! I was lucky and it took a great effort to manage to finish in front of him. The mistake I made going 3 wide into Parabolica would have been disastrous if not for Fulvio giving me some extra time to get the car slowed.

I haven´t driven this new version of Monza much. An outside line at Curva Grande and Parabolica felt like unfamiliar territory. I don´t know what I really can and can´t do yet. I struggled with the car´s handling early in the race. I hoped I might be able to latch onto the leaders. I had my chance. It was great fun driving the Ferrari at Monza. The 67 Ferrari at Monza was what got me hooked on this sim.

Thanks for the fun gentlemen and thanks for letting me race with you.

You know that some people are different
Now ain't that a crying shame
Now wouldn't it be a real drag if we were all the same
