I can only assume that you all must have been very wicked in previous lives to have to suffer this torture for a whole season. The interleague races will alternate with Division 1 this season, and we'll need a nine-car team for the first race with trellnet on the following Sunday. I would hope that all the D1 drivers who aren't also registered for Clubmans would want to represent us!

Hi Clive. I've noticed my name isn't in D! this season? Any reason for that or just that I'm not wanted?

Hi Art. You don't appear to have registered. Please vote in the poll and I'll add you to the list ready for tomorrow.

Noticed I'm down as first reserve, probably because I joined late and didn't want to commit to entering all the races (think I said approx 50% attendance) although I'll probably be there for most. Having never been a reserve before, whats the usual drill? Do I wait in VROC x minutes for others to connect first?

I don't think there will be a problem Glyn as we only have a total of about 12 drivers listed as Full Time and Reserves. So just join as normal at the start of qualifying, remembering not to venture onto the track until 30mins left on timer to give evryone a chance to make the connection.

Season 16 Division 1 - Round 1 - Mosport Race length = 50 minutes (27 laps)
First Pit Window is: 28 (to go on your pit board) to 19 (to go on your pit board) Second Pit Window is: 26 (to go on your pit board) to 9 (to go on your pit board)
Clive, there is a discrepancy between the race length and laps to go before pitting (marked red). I don't have excel [on this OS] to check the pitstop calculator so if Pete or Clive could correct this before the race. Kruger

Apparently it should read 34 laps for the race and I will edit the posting( to be approx 50mins racing), but selecting "Pro Long" in Igor shows up as 27laps. Phil has said that he will "adjust" the number of laps to be 34.
I have no idea how or where that is achieved.
Igor server hosting procedure, as far as I can see, only offers me the choice of "Pro Long" Intermediate Short" etc with the number of laps preset.

True, Phil, or Bully in this case, should adjust it on the server - basically increase race length in percentage, something.ini sort of file - so when you select int long, it is longer by said increased percentage in race length.

Just wanted to apologize to Storm Cloud for nipping him on T1 L1 and to anybody else this may have affected. I was way overcautious at the start. I will work on this for the next race. After the T1 incident, I waited until the track was completely clear and I started out in dead last. Soon S. Cloud and Evil were just ahead and we had a nice trio going for a good bit. Just managed to get past SC but it wasn't long before I had a few offs and stopped for my 14 sec drink break. Once I got going again, I was shocked at how many folks had dropped out. Ended up in 5th after a lot of very lonely laps. Grats to H and the podium. Super drive by both my Crash 'n' Burn teammates Art and Phil. WD guys. Great start for the team in S16!!! Cheers, Will

It was a good battle throughtout the first half of the race after I had too much wheelspin at the start and dropped down to 3rd. At T1 I ran outside of Lorenzo but a warp contact sent me off a bit so down to 4th there. After that it was difficult to follow Kruger's warpy car too close, but eventually I had a run on him before the jump but there all went wrong. I haven't looked at the replay yet, I hope there wasn't contact that sent you off into retirement, Kruger. Personally I braked too late but managed to scrub off enough speed in the sand and just slightly touch the fencing. In a few laps caught up with Lorenzo but then he went off at T2. Realizing I'd only lose time behind Neil's Honda which might allow Lorenzo to make up the lost time and go ahead once I pit for my stop/go, I decided to make it much earlier and it paid off. Eventually Neil's tyres seemed to have overheat too much and he lost it at T3 thus promoting me to 1st. From there on I just enjoyed the ride as the setup felt comfortable and I could push hard to ensure I keep the concentration level until the end. Only had one more moment when I went off at T3 myself, but apart from that it all went ok. Grats to Neil for 2nd and Art for 3rd!

Your performance was simply stunning last night Hristo.
Lorenzo was on my tail at the start and I have a feeling I was holding him up, but pulling away on the back straight so I could keep him at bay. After about 10 laps the tyres were starting to fade and the rears getting quite roasty. That and a combination of running out of talent was my demise in turn 3 which let Hristo into the lead, but I'm sure he'd have got ahead very shortly exiting turn 2.

I think I was more at fault for T1 than you Will. I was surprised by your lack of speed at the start and I wondered if maybe you had a problem with the car or possibly your pedals had slipped or something. I didn’t want to pull left into the outside lane in case someone had a better start than me and was coming up on my left. At the same time if you had a bad problem I didn’t want to follow you around the corner at slow speed. In the end I tried to pass you but still leave room for anyone to the left of me. Too close unfortunately.
Anway, for some reason the server stopped scoring me halfway through the race so I didn’t really know where I was. I did have a good scrap with Will Tway and Clive Gardner early on and towards the end of the race I was catching a Honda and I guessed it was Clive and that I was still racing him. He ran a little wide going into the fast right at the end of the backstretch on the last lap and I got into the gap on the inside. I kept as tight to the inside as I could but we had a little touch and Clive spun off, which I was sorry to see but I don’t think I took him out. Apologies though if it turns out I was a lap down and that wasn’t for position.
Hristo – the replay of you passing Enge doesn’t make pleasant viewing I’m afraid.
