I will be around this evening if anyone fancies some team building and practice. Besides which, I  could do with some setup tips for the Brabham..it don't handle like a Waza  Roll Eyes

I can run my PC as a server for Rouen if one of the "official" servers are not available.

Sounds good evil, I'll be there at some point. Smiley

Does anybody have any braking markers for the last hairpin, Scierie? It's the only corner I can't get right twice in a row because I don't know where to brake for it.

I'll be around for some practice, yes.

If you want you could try my Brabham setups, Evil.

Jethro, if you use the original default groove, brake just before it goes light after the initial dark patch (I think). If you can, install the WR groove, it makes it much easier, not only for braking, but for proper lines around some long bends.

Been having internet probs, late last night BT identified a line problem, which they were working on. So hopefully, it is fixed, as I write !!

I'll let you know if it remains going

Otherwise, am ready to step into the Cooper or BRM if needed. Got a new mid 1.58 PB in the BRM last night during my short appearance in the 2nd race qually, thanks to Hristo for his set-up on that one Smiley

Use the lighter / darker trees on the left as a guide.

Hristo's delight means you can probably guess the result.

Yep. We creamed em and served them up with croissants! Grin

Qualified 3rd on the grid after putting in a high 56 that just pipped John's Brabham. The starter was extremely quick with the flag and I found myself floundering in 5th after lap 1. Sam nipped at my heals and I let him go since the Lotus was always gonna be quicker than me and he showed it. With David well in front and UKGPL 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, I had Seb behind me in the Ferrari, and his pressure forced me into a braking mistake at the hairpin. He retired a few laps later for some unknown reason, which after John retired his smoking Brabham moved me back up the order to 4th! After that, it was a case of managing the gap to evilclive, some 20-30 seconds back, and when David retired 2 laps from the end (shades of Kyalami last time out I feel) I found myself 3rd, and stayed there! Not bad for 30 laps of a tortuous French circuit! Grin
