I don't know about the other guys but it has been absolutely the 1st time I've been using a Lotus for a race and...I think it will be quietly also the last one. I can only say that this car seems coming from another class but it is not so simple to drive with high performances.

Yes, it's rather odd to drive and very difficult to setup, so if it was your first time driving it you did a good job.

Well Hristo, you know how often I have driven that Green thing!! and it was most certainly different  Roll Eyes and required some strange setup to make it work for me.

I had bad spacing gears, 1° and 2° gears too much close and also the pure suspensions setup has been not properly set, so I can only give a thanks to the Lotus that brought me to cross the finish line.  Smiley

Same for me, as for last date setup last time I raced at Silver in a Lotus was 2003 and usually I don't race it at all, too fear about fragile engine in a PRO race, infact I rarely shifted gears over 8500 and was very cautious downshifting.

Damn !!!
As well as the Bumblebee flies because it doesn't know the science says it should not fly, so I've used bad manners with the engine of my Lotus  Roll Eyes Tongue but it functioned very well. Then my 2nd place has been a question of...ignorance  Shocked Shocked Shocked Grin

Can anyone help...since installing vroc and the vrocip.exe I can only join races on UKGPL servers, can't join Arf or Sergio's hosted races.  Does anyone know why this may be?  Used to work fine before last Tuesday...not sure if coincidence, well, pretty sure not as Arf has same issues.

Cheers,

Bob

I have trouble joining most other servers ( a few are OK )

I put it down to some sort of  FPS type or extra cars patch thingy's

Do you get any message like "timed out " or "bandwidth mismatch"  etc.

Is it just VROC ? or does IGOR give trouble too  ?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for replies, problem is when joining via igor and direct in gpl multi, times oot.

I can usually connect to Sergio and Arf.

I couldn't join via vroc on Tues and did so direct in gpl multi.

Sounds like it could be an Anti Virus thing  , have you tried disabling your AV ?
