I use the season manager in GEM+ to add/remove tracks. Only takes a few seconds. I've also used it to aim all of my gpl .exe's at 67season.ini, so I only have to change one file to add/delete tracks from all mods.

As with everything, if it works, make a backup of your 67season.ini. It's a lot easier to re-add tracks to it than to try to rebuild it (apparently, the "sort by directory name" feature in the season manager can **** your file right up, but it's not happened to me).

Oh, and could we please better specify which track version we're running in the future?

I looked at the race post, it says "Sebring", "Track = Sebring", so I spent yesterday practicing on SEBRING (not sebr67). Today, I check my fast times, and they seem about 10 seconds out from what should be expected, so look in the "Downloads" section (that I hadn't bothered with as I already had all 3 versions of this track installed) and it says "sebr67".

edit: just noticed this buried way down the bottom of trivia section: "We will use the 1967 layout." Maybe add something to the "Track = " bit for clarity?

66 set ups are taking time to get to grips with.
I was working with a set up that was giving consistent 2.48's. Tweaked the wheel rates & got a couple of 2.47s. During qually the brake points I was using  were causing havoc 2.50 at best! Dumped the new set up for the old one in the race & it was still horrible. Ended up stuck in a bale which was perhaps GPL's way of telling me to call it quits.

I decided the bale was also the way out in that one. Just getting to grips with the Ferrari too, after I tweaked the brake balance to give me something of a rearward bias to stop the fronts locking.

Everyone knows that million-to-one chances happen 9 times out of 10. Why the hell do I keep crashing then?!

got the track loaded after reading the instructions (silly old fool ) thanks all for the help anyway  Smiley

Still learning which way the track went during qually . Come the race and  it was my usual fight for last place with Billy . My turn to win this time Billy , sorry to here you bailed out early  laugh

I felt like calling it a day as my set up was carp , brake balance and sudden snap oversteer meant I had to tread lightly round all the bends , fortunately there was more of the straight bits (which I'm pretty good at) than the twisty bits , too much speed shifting did for my engine , decided to carry on to the bitter end being as how I had troubled you guys so much to get here .

Grats to the podiums

Thanks for the racing , apologies for the smoke screen and the oil slick  laugh

P.S. I do a very good valeting service for those of you who can afford it    Roll Eyes

Another lonely race at the front. After a cautious first few turns, got into a safe rhythm without pushing too much, but towards the end lost focus and hit the inside polo's twice bending the suspension slightly. That woke me up and pushed a bit more final 3 laps...

To me it's a fun track to race, not much margin for errors but when you hit the lines well it's a pretty good track Smiley Good job Dean and Tris who made the least mistakes it seemed...well done finishers, seemed  a hard track for many...commiserations...

Looking forward to last race, should be closer at the front... Wink

Had to skip this one, as I would have only been able to drive qualifying at best. Would have been nice to give Rob a more eventful race, though I probably couldn't have kept up in the Lotus 43. However, I am now hopeful of making the final race at the Glen Smiley
