Sorry for my stupid driving tonight guys, I see I caused mayhem when I over cooked it at T1, ending Enrique's race (possibly others too), then taking Jonny out two turns later, with a lunge I shouldn't even have been thinking about.  I took a look at the replay afterwards, worse than I first thought  oops  hang

What a race. Started 5th, entered T1 about 6th, exited dead last, fought my way up to P2. Lots of fun, although didn't realise until tonight how hard it is to pass here. Pete let me through at a safe point, what a gent. Either he or Fulvio was warping like a good 'un, got a bit scary. Had a great fight with Leo until an unfortunate error let me by, then it was all about whether Bastian would get close, happily not close enough.

East London is probably going to be the end of my season, as I need an op after an accident last year, good job it's a circuit I like/ See you there.

Sorry I let you guys down last night. I was too tired from work, still made it more or less awaken to qualy, but couldn't do half a lap without visiting the Eifel countryside. Decided it was safer for everybody if I didn't race. See you next time.

Great Race, i think the first time managing 6 Laps ring without wrecking.

I think there were two contacts in lap 1, i need to look at the replay.

After Lap 4 chasing arf i lost concentration because of being tired, and got chased by leo.
I was happy my top speed was better so he could not really attack.

thx all for racing

I'm just happy for points in this one. I had my usual slow start which gave me a clear view of the T1 carnage, giving me plenty of time to pick my way through. Arf was behind but way quicker, so rather than risk an encounter, I let him go to have his fun up-front. I started to lose concentration by lap 4 which resulted in a couple of spins but I had too good a lead over Doni for him to be any real danger. So, happy to finish, happy to be on the lead lap and happy to have some points.

Thanks for hosting.

Great job by Greg to score a convincing win!  Well done to Colin & Bastian for scoring P2 & P3, respectively.

I was very tired to start this round and decided to miss the start altogether and launch from my pit stall after the field had cleared off.  My only goal was to finish and as it turned out, taking the delayed start may have saved my bacon.  I arrived on the scene of the T1, Lap01 shunt long after it had cleared.  Sorry to see some fallers there.

For the six laps, I just minded my pace to try and score as many 'On Track' laps as possible.  Dropped a wheel off here and there to spoil that and had a brief spin on the last lap.  If I'd been a little sharper, probably wouldn't have happened at all.

Happy just to finish here in the Green Hell.

I was very happy with the good weather in qualy, but it only lasted 2 corners in the race. In the championship 67 two race 0 lap. Hope it gets better next time!

  Congratulations to the podium!

Congrats Colin and Bastian!

I´m shocked I won with a Cooper. I doubt I have ever won a race in it. I was looking for a top 5 qualifying spot and top 5 finish with a little hope I might get lucky and be on the podium. I wanted to drive the Ferrari this time but I realized I had calculated my tokens incorrectly. I thought about driving the Brabham but then I thought I´m more likely to finish in the Cooper. I made a schedule to use almost 90 tokens but it spent too many tokens early in the season.

Many seemed to be slow this time. I was expecting Tristan to take pole position. Some of the lap times he´s posted in recent years made me wonder if he´s broke the 8:00 minute mark with the Brabham. Jonny and Enrique have posted some 67 F1 times in recent years that I don´t think I could ever do. Bob´s fast enough and good enough that I wouldn´t have been surprised to qualify behind him. And it wouldn´t have surprised me if Leo was close to my times. Thanks for the gift gentlemen. I always try to win at least one Works race a season and I couldn´t have done it without your generosity.

I didn´t get much practice this time but I didn´t think I needed it, 3 laps and 5 or 6 practice starts before qualifying and then I got at least a few practice starts during qualifying. I probably drove the race a little faster than I should have. I wanted to make sure to I had a comfortable gap on Bob by the start of lap 5.

I was a little worried Jonny and/or Tristan might beat me to T1. Jonny didn´t but Tristan did. I knew he was beside me but not exactly where. I didn´t know what was happening behind me so I braked at my intended point and waited longer to turn into T1. A tiny mistake by me or Tristan would have resulted in a collision. I was pleased I did what I needed to do to avoid any starting problems.

I was surprised and I felt a little bad for Tristan wrecking his car near the end of lap 1. After the long straight he had enough of a gap to be a little cautious at Antoniusbuche. I don´t know if I have ever seen Tristan perform so poorly.

I had a 3 or 4 moments during the race. I came close to running wide into the deadly tree before Adenauer Forst. I also went too far inside one time and made myself think, a little further inside and might have lost a wheel.

I´m happy to drive a good race at Nurburgring in the 67s. It´s been a long time. It´s also good to see Team Baarf get such a great result. Bob couldn´t do it but Colin sure did.

I´ve been struggling with the 67s on Pro damage the past few years now. It´s sad to see Jonny, Enrique, and Bob struggling as much or more than I have this season.

After my clutch failure at Watkins Glen and the debacle I caused at Porto I figured Tristan was going to walk away with the championship. It looks like he might have lost his motivation with none of us being able to challenge his point total. I´m close enough again that he might not be able to afford too many mistakes.

Thanks for the fun guys.
