I just did a few practice laps in the brab BT11 BRM and 1.10.83 was my best so far. Reckon I could knock another second or 2 off with some practice! Bully.

Ah thanks, I only tried the '67 cars briefly, and I was in a Lotus (no idea which version ). No idea how the '66's behave in comparison to the '67.

66s are slower. Lotus 49 will do l.03s in alien hands I think? (long time since I've driven one, so it's probably 02s by now).

Lol, I suck in the same car with the default (pants) setup I did 1:16 . But that was with a lap or 5 done. I really need to be able to use the '67 setups for the '66 cars . EDIT: What chassis do I have to pick, advanced, standard or basic? And looking at that list, which one is the fastest, top car or bottom car? EDIT2: Guess standard is the right one, as the trainers feel poo

If you're talking about car type, then always use grand prix. Good time with a 67 Lotus at the Glen is anything in the 1.05 range. You should also use other than default setups. If you want twitchy ones, look for Andreas Wilkes setups.

Having a few problems logging into practice server, as the usual practice password is not being accepted by the server. Any ideas?

Don't know what server you were trying to connect to but I've set up the server (details as per race announcement - including usual practice password) on a continuous loop. It appears in the IGOR race list as Server_66_Dedicated and comment field is UKGPL Test. This should give everyone the chance to test their connections before Sunday. I'll reset the server to a single race (not continuous loop) just before the race is due to start on Sunday (so that the race replay is saved - I'm not saving the replays on the continuous loop). Remember the choice of chassis is down to the driver and the published bands are a guideline. Drivers can take a slower chassis than their rank dictates but please don't take a faster one. If you want to try a 67 race, Chris Bull has another server running on VROC. It is called D.Server and no password is necessary. If you want to join this server you'll need WinVROC v 2.1 (get it here http://www.vroc.net/legacy.html)
