The Master's Cup was originally set up in S9 because there were quite a few very fast drivers who didn't like pit stops. The format has been developed, through the commitment and enthusiasm of Chris Darkes and Nev Richard, to its current form. The competition is open to all drivers registered for the Master’s Cup and Division 1. There are no car related pit stops but to provide closer racing throughout the season, the drivers leading the standings are restricted to the slower cars as detailed below. As was the case in Season 11, the final positions will be determined after each driver has discarded their worst two results.
Chris Darkes will oversee the running of both 'Cup' championships and since, in Martin’s case, he will be competing in the series that he is running, if you are involved in an incident with Martin, Chris will be there to sort things out.

Drivers wanting to use a single chassis all season can still do so by taking a pit stop wait (similar to Div1) if your championship position would otherwise prevent you from using your preferred chassis. Contact Martin Gilmour for the required pit stop length if none has been published for the circuit in question. Int-damage; any Shift-R must be followed by a 35 sec pitstop within 2 laps regardless of blame. |
