The Mixed Open Wheel championship will feature a range of open wheel classes and is intended to give the drivers the challenge of driving cars which differ widely in performance in much the same way as the drivers did in the 1960s.
This championship will be run over 8 races, drivers of all abilities are welcome but the faster drivers will be placed in the "Works" category with the remaining drivers placed in the "Privateer" category. The final championship positions will be determined after each driver has discarded their worst two results.
The following mods will be used in the following order:
65F1, 66F1 (2L & 3L), 68F1 (Early), 68F1 (Late), 65F1, 66F1 (2L & 3L), 68F1 (Early), 68F1 (Late)Drivers will be allowed to choose a group of chassis which are grouped by manufacturer with a single manufacturer per group where possible. "Works" drivers will
not be allowed to choose Group 7, Group 8 or Group 9. "Privateer" drivers can choose any group. Once a group is selected, a driver will not be allowed to drive a car from another group. In groups where more than one car is listed for a particular mod, the driver can chose from any of the available options.
